Colorado Gives Day // Giveback Homes

I have been a member of Giveback Homes for the past seven years. Giveback Homes is a community of real estate professionals who are committed to creating social change by helping build homes for deserving families around the globe. We work together to organize fundraising events, mobilize teams of volunteer homebuilders, and we inspire others to take action for social good.

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. But today, there are over a billion people around the world who live in inadequate shelter. Our members are taking action and making a difference in the world.

We work with established charity partners to organize home building projects for our members to support across the U.S and in countries including, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Haiti. Our members help us build homes through their generous contributions, and by volunteering their time at local Build Days as well international Build Trips.

We love being a member of this wonderful organization, and believe that owning a home of your own is incredibly powerful. We love being part of the journey to homeownership with my clients and through Giveback Homes we make a donation for every transaction and referral that we receive.

We loved bring part of these building projects:

Noel in Haiti. After the 2010 earthquake destroyed his home, Noel lived in a tarp tent with his wife and their six children. Their home now provides a place for peace, prosperity, security, legacy and opportunity.

Adelina in Nicaragua and her son were living in a home made of rotten wood, metal, and plastic sheets. They are now living in their safe new home, knowing that it will not leak or fall apart when a storm comes in.
