Cail's Corner: Our Favorite Dog-Friendly Restaurants
Romero’s K9 Club and Tap House - 985 South Public Road, Lafayette
In the heart of downtown Lafayette, Romero’s is a place where people can gather with friends in a fun, relaxed atmosphere and bring the pooch along too. Their inside bar area is designed for human hangout, and a great place to catch up with friends while enjoying a smooth beverage.
The enclosed pavilion allows on-leash canine companions and is temperature controlled for year-round enjoyment.
The outdoor biergarten area admits well-behaved, off-leash K9s who have been registered on Romero’s Website. A day pass fee applies. “Where tails are always wagging!”
Acreage Restaurant - 1380 Horizon Avenue, Unit A, Lafayette
We love everything about this place. The views are spectacular, the farm-to-table food is delicious, and the outside areas are perfect for your furry friends. The “Back 40” offers grassy areas to picnic and enjoy to-go food and cider from the Acreage carry-out counter, or the back patio is a great spot to sit and enjoy all the tasty treats that Acreage offers.
Murphy’s Tap House - 585 S. McCaslin Blvd, Louisville
We love grabbing a beer from their great list (more than 40 beers on tap) and sitting on the sunny south-facing outdoor patio and beer garden with our pup. With a menu of salads, burgers, sandwiches and bowls, there is something for everyone, and who doesn’t love a game of giant Jenga?
Avery Brewing - 4910 Nautilus Court, Boulder
Founded in 1993 and known for it’s award-winning beers, Avery Brewing is a Boulder staple. Their dog-friendly patio is the perfect spot to hang out with friends, and they frequently host live music and other fun events.
The Golden Mill - 1012 Ford Street, Golden
The “Backyard of Golden” has been newly reimagined and offers food from five local food concepts and over 50 taps of beers, wine and signature cocktails from the self-pour tap wall. Leashed dogs are allowed on their lower patio so everyone can join in on the fun!
