Jen's Top Ten - Our Favorite Spots for Outdoor Dining
Finally, the weather is warm and we can enjoy the gorgeous Colorado scenery while partaking in our incredible local culinary scene! Here are a few of our favorites:
Rosetta Hall: 1109 Walnut Street, Boulder
Nothing beats Flatiron views, a satisfyingly full belly, or a flavorful cocktail. Rosetta Hall flawlessly combines these ingredients, and the result is nothing short of a recipe for success.
Kick your visit off with a Barcelona Spritz, and allow for the journey to unfold for your taste buds as you order from any (or all!) of the top-notch food stations serving culinary delights inspired by every corner of the globe.
Avanti Food and Beverage: 1401 Pearl Street, Boulder and 3200 Pecos Street, Denver
We love everything about this modern day food hall, inspired by European markets and food truck roundups. Grab a drink at the bar and then explore several eclectic culinary options while admiring the stunning views of the Boulder Foothills or the Downtown Denver skyline.
Acreage: 1380 Horizon Avenue, Unit A, Lafayette
Hands down, the BEST place we know to watch the sun set over the Rocky Mountains while sipping a glass of Stem Cider and noshing on their delicious, fresh menu items. Make a reservation for dinner on the outdoor patio and cider garden, or bring a picnic blanket to the ‘back forty’ where you can order from the counter and relax with friends. (Cali also loves this dog-friendly spot!)
El Five: 2930 Umatilla, Fifth Floor, Denver
Nestled high above LoHi, El Five boasts spectacular, unobstructed city views of the downtown Denver skyline, and a wide frame of sprawling highlands for an unrivaled sunset view. Mouthwatering Mediterranean tapas and paella, and incredible cocktails .
The large open-air patio sits adjacent to its big sister and another of our favorites and the next establishment on my list…
Linger: 2030 W. 30th Avenue, Denver
You’ll want to do just that with friends over a round of Linger’s famous Frosés. From starters to desserts, not to mention this sweet sip, a scrumptious, open-air experience awaits you!
Centro Mexican Kitchen: 950 Pearl Street, Boulder
This covered, year-round patio is one of the best in Boulder! Sip on a fresh-squeezed mojito or margarita and enjoy the delicious regional Mexican cuisine with bold flavors and unique combinations while enjoying the sights and sounds of West Pearl Street.
Lucky Pie Pizza: 637 Front Street, Louisville, 1610 16th Street, Denver, and 7916 Niwot Road, Niwot
All three Lucky Pie locations are wonderful, but our favorite is the original in Louisville, just off Main Street, because they have a huge lawn and sun-filled patio that is super family-friendly. We crave their local, organic salads and pizzas (the Nepolitana is our favorite!) and their craft beer and cocktail list is off the charts. Plus, Sweet Cow Ice Cream is right next door for the perfect treat!
The Roost: 526 Main Street, Longmont
Offering locally sourced and carefully crafted food and drink, located in the heart of Downtown Longmont, this family owned business is committed to supporting local and sustainable products, and we love sipping a delicious cocktail on their beautiful rooftop deck.
Stoic & Genuine: 1701 Wynkoop - Union Station
We love all the spots at Union Station, but out favorite patio is Stoic & Genuine, overlooking the fountains in front. It’s the perfect spot to people watch while enjoying incredible fresh seafood, flown in daily. Anytime we are nearby, we can’t resist stopping by for at least a dozen oysters and a glass of crisp white wine.
The Woods Rooftop at the Source: 3330 Brighton Blvd, Denver
We love the views from every corner of this rooftop - the perfect spot to enjoy craft cocktails, delicious bites, and New Belgium Brews. Don’t miss the sweet soy cauliflower - we literally dream about it.
Bonus Mention: The Golden Mill - 1012 Ford Street, Golden
We couldn’t be more excited about this newly reimagined spot with Golden’s only rooftop patio and bar. The perfect spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy live music, events and pop up markets, while enjoying food from five local food concepts, house made cocktails, and beer from the self-pour tap wall!
