Old Town Skate

Each winter, Louisville transforms into a winter wonderland with the installation of an outdoor ice rink. Adorned with twinkling lights and evergreen garlands, "Old Town Skate" has become a cherished holiday tradition for all ages. Old Town Skate brings festive cheer to Louisville at Steinbaugh Pavilion now through February 2025. The rink is decked out with twinkling lights and seasonal tunes, and even offers free carriage rides on select days. With no time limits, visitors can soak up the holiday vibes and explore downtown. Parade of Lights

The Parade of Lights in Louisville is a festive favorite that’s been brightening the town for over thirty years. This year, it’s happening on Friday, December 6th, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with the parade starting at 7:00 pm on Main Street. Don’t forget to swing by the courtyard behind Bittersweet Café between 5:30 and 6:30 pm to meet Santa and snap some holiday photos. It’s a great way to kick off the season!
