Local Love: The Read Queen

An independent, women-owned new and used bookstore and cafe with a strong focus on building community and bringing people together, the Read Queen has become one of our favorite spots in Lafayette!

Located in the Lumberyards Center in Old Town Lafayette, this sweet bookstore and cafe opened it’s doors three years ago and has stolen the hearts of anyone who has set foot in their beautiful, warm store. They also offer tons of opportunities to connect with the community, through their book clubs, book release parties, and other fun and engaging events.
