Local Love: Celebrating Earth Day the Front Range Way

As a native of Colorado, I have a lifelong love and appreciation for the breathtaking beauty nature has to offer right here in our community’s backyard! This has translated into my career in the Real Estate industry (fun fact with impact: I am a holder of the Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors) and in my family’s day-to-day life.

We are lucky to have the opportunity to connect with the outdoors each day here on the Front Range, and there are an abundance of ways to celebrate Earth Day the Colorado way. I am looking forward to the two local events highlighted below!

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery:

Snooze is a classic brunch choice for those of us lucky to live close to one of their several Colorado locations. They offer a restaurant experience that integrates Earth-friendly principles such eco to-go packaging and carbon offset deliveries, and on Earth Day plant a tree for every Snoozer. Snooze has also committed to donating $25,000 to the National Young Farmers Coalition for the second year in a row.

Top Terracotta + Fjallraven in Boulder:

Our neighbors at milehimodern’s Pearl Street office, Top Terracotta, are partnering with our fellow Pearl Street patrons Fjallraven to celebrate Earth Day, and are working with Tree-Plenish to replant over 1000 trees impacted by the Marshall Fire.

Terracotta will be hosting a pop-up from 11am-5pm today at Fjallraven’s Boulder store.

Fjallraven is also hosting a plogging (the Swedish word for picking up trash while jogging or walking) event on Saturday, 4/23 at 10am at each of their stores.
